COACH PITCH U7/8

 

 

Game time is 1 hour minutes or six innings.

Forfeit time is game time. A team must have a minimum of (8) players to play, less constitutes a forfeit.  Games may end in a tie.

 

Mercy Rule: None

 

Run Limit: (5) runs may score per inning. Sixth inning no run limit.

 

Batting is continuous - each batter getting a maximum of (6) pitches or (3) strikes.  All foul balls shall be considered strikes.

 

Hit Batter: A batter hit by a coaches pitch will not be awarded a base

Base Runners must be in contact with the base at the time the pitcher is in contact with the rubber. The defense must cause the offense to

hesitate, stop or reverse direction. Once a runner hesitates, stops or reverses direction he must cease his advance.

 

Over Throws - Foul territory runners advance at their own risk one base. Fair territory runners may advance until the play is ended.

 

Thrown bat - (1) warning to the coach, thereafter call the batter “Out”.  

 

Infield Fly: No  

MODIFIED KID PITCH U8

Game time is 1 hour or six innings.

Run Limit: (5) runs per inning. 6th inning unlimited runs.

 

Balks - No    

Infield Fly - No

 

Pitching: The pitcher will pitch to each batter until the batter has struck out or has received four balls. The coach will pitch a maximum of (2) 

balls to batters who have received four balls.  The batter must put one of the last remaining pitches in play by hitting it into fair territory or the batter will be called out.

Base Runners must be in contact with the base at the time the pitcher is in contact with the rubber. The defense must cause the offense to

hesitate, stop or reverse direction. Once a runner hesitates, stops or reverses direction he must cease his advance.

2 Minute Rule will be adhered to between innings. A returning pitcher is allowed (5) pitches or 2 minutes.

     A relief pitcher will always get (8) warm up pitches to start.

MINORS U9/10

Game time is 1 hour 30 minutes or six innings.

Forfeit time is game time. A team must have a minimum of (8) players to play, less  constitutes a forfeit.  Games may end in a tie.

 

Mercy Rule: 10 after four innings or 3 1/2 if the home team is leading. Both teams must complete their time a bat unless home is leading.

Only  (5) runs may score per inning. Sixth inning no run limit.

 

Time Outs: (1) offensive per inning (batter/runners)  Pitcher- (2) per inning. (3) in one inning or (4) per in a game the pitch must be replace.

 

Balks - No     Infield Fly - Yes

Mercy Rule: 10 after four innings or 3 1/2 if the home team is leading. Both teams must complete their time a bat unless home is leading.

Only  (5) runs may score per inning. Sixth inning no run limit.

 

Time Outs: (1) offensive per inning (batter/runners)  Pitcher- (2) per inning. (3) in one inning or (4) in a game the pitcher must be replace.
